What you can do

Take any text from our free game content at mythscript.com — use it, adapt it, remix it, and share it — to make works that are compatible with MythScript. Sell them or give them away. Keep everything you earn. You owe us nothing but the attribution below.

Attribution

Put this line somewhere people can find it — a credits page or a legal section is fine. Anyone who builds on your work has to carry it too. Use it word for word:

Saying you're compatible

You can call your work “compatible with MythScript” or “designed for MythScript.” Just don't title it in a way that makes people think we made it, and don't claim we endorse it.

What's off-limits

Don't use our paid or registration-gated content, images, artwork, icons, or other visual elements, our logos, or our trade dress — the overall look and feel. Those stay ours.

You can use images from our official Creator Kit unmodified (black and white printing allowed).

The fine print

Anything you published with content that was free stays licensed, even if we later change this license or move that content behind a paywall. Once it's out, it's yours.

Break the terms and your rights end — but they come back if you fix the problem within 30 days of noticing it or being told. We provide everything as-is, with no warranties and no liability. You're responsible for what you make. If any part of this license can't be enforced, the rest still stands.
